In a bid to strengthen grassroots governance and accelerate development across Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, the Leader of the House, Hon. Giwa Idowu Wasiu Aduragbemi, on Thursday, 14th August 2025, chaired a high level sitting with members of the Legislative Arm.
The meeting, held at the council chambers, focused on reviewing ongoing developmental projects, identifying pressing community needs, and setting legislative priorities for the months ahead. Key issues discussed included infrastructure upgrades, environmental management, education support, youth empowerment, and improved healthcare delivery within the LCDA.
Hon. Giwa, in his address, emphasized the importance of direct community engagement, urging all councillors to return to their respective wards to interact with residents, listen to their concerns, and document the specific needs of each community. He stressed that such feedback would form the foundation for effective policy making and ensure that every developmental project reflects the real aspirations of the people.
